In March of 2017, Rockhurst High School earned an AdvancED STEM Certification
The AdvancED STEM Certification process requires a school to provide evidence of meeting the eleven indicators of the STEM Certification standard. On a 4 point scale, a school must obtain a sufficient average score throughout the eleven indicators. Click on each indicator below to read about how Rockhurst met each indicator. On the top right of the page, the AdvancED STEM Certification score is displayed. If you have any more questions about Rockhurst's STEM Certificate and what it means, then please contact Mr. Greg Owsley, STEAM Director of Rockhurst High School.
STEM students have the skills, knowledge, and thinking strategies that prepare them to be innovative, creative, and systematic problem-solvers in STEM fields of study and work.
