- Camp Sessions (K - 9th) focus primarily on technique and tactics. They conclude with short-sided games.
- Academy Sessions (3rd -9th) include all of the teaching of the camp sessions but allows more time for repetitions, emphasizes the transfer of techniques, skills and tactics under game-like conditions and prepares players by utilizing regular scrimmages.
- The Strikers and Goalkeepers Academy places an emphasis on finishing activities and specific goalkeeping techniques and tactics listed below. Many of the areas top Keepers have started here and attend regularly.
Campers are divided up into Beginners, Advanced and Premier based on skill and grade level

Hawklet Camp and Academy Director Chris Lawson
Head Soccer Coach for Rockhurst High School and former St. Teresa's Academy Head Coach. A USSF licensed coach, Coach Lawson has helped lead Rockhurst to 12 consecutive Final Fours, and 16 overall Final Four appearances in his 20 years, having won six state titles in 1998, 1999, 2007, 2008, 2010 & 2013. He led St. Teresa's to Final Four and Championship matches in 1998, 1999, and 2000. Coach Lawson has coached over 90 Division I players, four All-American, four MLS players and has coached nine Kansas City Metro Players of the Year. He has coached and trained 26 KC All-Metro Goalkeepers in his 18 years of coaching. Coach Lawson trains over 200 Keepers a year in the Metropolitan Kansas City area. He was the 1998, 1999, 2008, 2010 and 2013 Missouri State and four-time NSCAA Regional Coach of the Year, and the 2007, 2008 and 2013 Missouri State High School Soccer Coaches Association (MSHSSCA) Coach of the Year.
A former goalkeeper at NAIA perennial power Park College, he holds the college's record for most shutouts in a season and for penalty kicks saved in a single season. His experience as head coach at Rockhurst and his previous experience as a goalkeeper coach at Park College will enhance a player's chances to play at the next level.
Serving as assistant directors will include members of the Hawklet staff: Mike Wickenhauser, Phil Baker and Jeremy McElduff (Head Coach - St. Teresa's Academy). The camp staff has included such past standout players as. Jason Cole, St. Louis University & Colorado Rapids (MLS); Matt Benben, Jim Davey and Jason Woods, UMKC; Matt Darby and Mike Robards, Marquette University; Matt Jewett, Creighton University; William John, St. Louis University; Jessica Dotson, University of Nebraska at Omaha; Jarrett Devereaux, U of Cincinnati; Lance Snodgrass, Regis University; Rachel Benben, Rockhurst University; Fred Schlichting Asst. Coach UMKC.

Lunch and a drink will be include for all ACADEMY participants,
ACADEMY and CAMP participants need to bring their own water bottle, and soccer ball.
